MAIN STAGES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

2022 – 2024

— design of a gas chemical complex and related gas transport, railway, automobile and engineering infrastructure.

2025 – 2030

— phased construction of a gas chemical complex and a marine terminal.

PRIMARY PROCESSING OF NATURAL GAS

Commissioning of production – I quarter 2028

Manufactured products – 1,8 million tons of methanol per year

STAGE
DEEP PROCESSING

Commissioning of production – until the fourth quarter of 2030.

Manufactured products – 1,8 million tons of methanol per year as well as production of ethylene and polypropylene (with a production capacity of 530 thousand tons per year)

PROJECT FACILITIES

METHANOL PLANT

Volume of natural gas consumption –
up to 4.5 billion cubic meters m. per year

Production volume – up to 3.6 million tons of methanol per year, as well as the production of ethylene and polypropylene (with a production capacity of 530 thousand tons per year)

MARINE TERMINAL

The capacity of the design type of the vessel –
up to 80 thousand tons

Cargo turnover – up to 8 million tons per year

RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE

On-site railway infrastructure for non-public use, including a receiving and departing park, stations for loading and unloading cars, adjoining the station of the Ust-Luga railway junction.

AUTOMOBILE INFRASTRUCTURE

On-site road linking the marine terminal and the gas chemical complex with an adjoining road of regional significance 41K-005 “Pskov-Gdov-Slantsy-Kingisepp-Krakolye”

GAS PIPELINE-OUTLET

The length is about 14.0 km.

Tapping into the main gas transmission system of PJSC Gazprom.

ENGINEERING INFRASTRUCTURE

Construction of power grid facilities, water supply and sanitation facilities, including local treatment facilities. Technological connection to the new substation of JSC “LOESK”.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Gas chemical complex and adjacent facilities of gas transport, railway, automobile and engineering protection at remote borders from specially protected natural areas Seskar State Nature Reserve, customers Kurgalsky and Kotelsky

The project provides for the use of modern production and construction technologies, environmental control and monitoring at all stages of construction and operation
